	BASIC INFUSION SYSTEM FOR LARGE ANIMALS   1. Syringe Pump:   The pump holds a syringe that contains the fluid to be injected into the animal.  The pump pushes the fluid thru the fluid line (cannulae) to the swivel.  Syringe pumps come in a wide variety of sizes to hold from one to 10 syringes. We also offer push & pull pumps that both infuse and withdraw fluids.   2.  Fluid Lines: The fluid lines carry the fluid from the syringe to the swivel.   3. Swivel:  The swivel is designed to allow the fluid line to attach to the top of the swivel. Fluid then passes thru the swivel while allowing the lower half of the swivel to move in either direction without any fluid leaking.  The fluid is then passed thru the bottom of the swivel where another fluid line is attached at the bottom of the swivel.  This allows freedom of movement for the animal. The tether attaches itself to the bottom of the swivel and to the animal jacket.    The tether shown is a PRO-LGAT-5, 5 feet long.   Tether End Plate:               This end plate attaches to the lower end of the tether and also attaches to the animal jacket. The end plate shown is a PRO-LGATEP.   Animal Jacket:             The jacket is used to hold the tether & fluid line in place while infusing the animal. The jacket shown is for swine, but the design is slightly different for the dog or sheep.     Syringe Pumps
