ST-190-XY is an automated instrument with a thin silicon strain chamber to observe cells in real-time using light or fluorescence microscopy. Biaxial strain that is experienced by endothelial, muscle, and fibroblast cells can be simulated by mechanical stretching or compression along the X and Y axis of our strain chamber. Strain can be applied simultaneously or independently along the X and Y axis. This versatile unit can perform 168 different strain parameters and is compatible with Nikon, Olympus, Leica, and Zeiss microscopes. |
