Catamount Research and Development, Inc., is pleased to announce the release of the latest addition to our physiological/pharmacological research product line. GIMM is a complete solution for monitoring the peristaltic reflex in isolated segments of colon from laboratory species such as guinea-pigs.
The computer tracks the movement of a fecal pellet as it passes through an isolated segment of colon. The software records the velocity of the pellet and the data are graphically displayed. Data can be exported to spreadsheet for further analysis.
The computer interface is easy to use. Keep track of each experiment using "Project" files. These files include identifying information such as trial number and group title.
